2" high wood typeface
A woodtype designed over the course of one week in a workshop with typeface designer Mark Jamra. A group of about fifteen students came together to sketch, design and then digitally draw this typeface using Illustrator.
The glyphs were then cut by Steve Bowden into hard maple wood movable type to be used in letterpress printing.
I personally designed the W from scratch and then worked on refining early renditions of the Y and the K.
